Opening Times and Holidays

Our school is open 7.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday, every school term, with our fee-paying sessions for breakfast club from 07.30am - 8.45am and for after school provision from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

Our core funded school day is from 8.45am - 3.30pm each day. Fifteen hour funded places can be taken as follows where available:-

  1. Two and a half days at the beginning of the week- Mondays and Tuesdays full days (with a charge for the lunchtime meal) and  alternate Wednesdays 8.45am-11.45am
  2. Two and a half days at the end of the week - alternate Wednesdays 12.30pm-3.30pm and full days on Thursdays and Fridays (with a charge for the lunchtime meal)
  3. Morning sessions Monday to Friday 8.45am - 11.45am
  4. Afternoon sessions Monday to Friday 12.30 - 3.30pm.

Our 30-hour places are over four full days and a half day session (with a charge for the lunchtime meal on the full days).

To comply with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for children to learn and experience healthy eating, our lunchtime is part of the funded teaching hours and therefore it is important that children have a hot healthy meal with our menus linked to the NHS‘ Better Health Healthier Families recipes (see also our lunchtime and curriculum policies). 30 Hours provision can also be accommodated, as above, over five days with no lunchtime provision and 15 hours provision in the morning or afternoon, rather than the two and a half day places.
For information on how to apply for Free School Meals please see the page on our website under Family Support.

Please contact the school on 01535 605272 if you would like further information.
